Minecraft Skyblock servers are based on the popular Skyblock map where players spawn on a floating island and have to survive with only a few resources. Depending on the server, you might begin only on a small island with a chest of basic items, or you may start off on a larger starter island with a house and cobblestone generator already pre-built. After starting the goal is to expand the size of your island, farm resources, complete quests, and upgrade your island level. Modern Skyblock servers usually add a lot of extra features like island fly, minions that mine or farm for you, crates, co-op islands, in-game economies, island top leaderboards, and seasonal resets. That said, some servers keep the old school Skyblock feel and make things more challenging, while others make progression faster and more competitive. If you want a different twist on this gamemode where everything starts from one regenerating block, OneBlock servers are worth checking out too.
