Minecraft Modded Servers
Minecraft Modded servers run extra mods or full modpacks that change Minecraft past what most vanilla servers offer. Depending on the server some of the features they add include new biomes, mobs, ores, dimensions, machines, magic systems, quests, bosses, or completely different progression. Some modded servers are based on large public modpacks, while others use smaller custom packs made just for their server.
Before joining make sure you install the exact modpack and Minecraft version the server requires as your client will need to match. These servers are typically played on Java Edition and require the right mod loader such as Forge, Fabric, or NeoForge.
