Minecraft Earth servers are based on custom Earth maps that recreate the real world instead of using a normal randomly generated Minecraft world. Most maps are scaled down to around 1:500 or 1:1000, so players can explore continents, countries, and real world locations inside the map. These servers usually play like Towny or survival servers, where players are able to claim land, build towns, form nations, make alliances, and sometimes go to war over territory. Many Earth servers also add features like jobs, shops, player economies, crossplay, and live dynamic maps that let you view the world in your browser in real time. If you want survival gameplay with a larger world map, countries, and geopolitics, this gamemode is usually a great fit.
